The Ivančić Winery is a notable winery located in the picturesque region of Istria, known for its high-quality wines. The Ivančić Winery is situated in an ideal location for growing grapes, with its proximity to the coast providing the perfect combination of climate and soil. This allows them to cultivate a wide range of grape varieties, including Malvasia, Teran, and Muscat, which are used to produce their award-winning wines.
There is a guided tour of the winery organized by GoAdria where you will be introduced to 5 autochthonous wine varieties and you will also get basic information about wine production in Istria.
Working hours: every day from 10 am to 6 pm.
Situated in the place of Momjan, Kabola Winery is known for its organic wines, which are made using traditional winemaking techniques. The winery produces a range of wines - around 100,000 bottles of wine annually. The wines include Malvasia Amfora - which is one of the most sought-after Istrian wines, then Istrian Malvasia, Malvasia Unica, Muscat Seco, Muscat Momjan and Dolce.
The winery offers 4 tasting programs that you can choose depending on your preferences. Its tasting room is located in a historic building with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
Working hours: from Monday to Thursday from 11 am to 5pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 6pm, Sunday is closed.
The well-known Matošević family produces its wines from grapes that grow in two vineyard locations. One of them is located in the small village Krunčići, and is responsible for the creation of the best white wines, especially Malvasia and Chardonnay. The second one is located next to the village of Grimalda, where the foundations for the production of Grimalda white (Cuvée Grimalda) are laid.
Guided wine tasting and cellar tour are also available. The cellar and tasting room are located in Krunčići.

For those who are interested in visiting a few wineries in one day, there is a Novigrad Wine Trail Tour. It is a half-day excursion offered by Goadria that takes visitors on a journey through Novigrad’s renowned wineries and wine making traditions, as well as to taste some of the finest local wines. The tour includes visits to three wineries, where participants can sample up to five wines at each location, as well as a traditional Istrian lunch paired with local wines.
After the tour, you can relax in the Aminess Maestral Hotel, located in Novigrad as well.
