More than 55 years of tradition
From a company which operated back in 1970 as part of Poreč and Umag tourist enterprises, Laguna Novigrad d.d. developed into one of the leading Croatian tourist companies. As part of its “Aminess Hotels & Resorts” brand, Aminess d.d. boasts a total of 16 hotels, 5 campsites and 3 resorts with villas and suites, situated at the most attractive destinations along the Adriatic coast – in Istria, on the islands of Krk, Pag and Korčula, as well as in Novi Vinodolski, Crikvenica, Makarska and on the peninsula of Pelješac. Auctor kapital d.o.o. from Zagreb is majority shareholder in the Company.

The Emonia Hotel in Novigrad was built

The opening of Sirena Campsite in Novigrad
1970.
Destination Novigrad comprises the following facilities: Trst, Emonia and Afrodita hotels with 302 beds, new Laguna Hotel with 450 beds, and Novigrad campsite
1971.

Laguna Novigrad becomes a joint-stock company following the ownership transformation process

The Feral Hotel (now Aminess Lume) on the island of Korčula enters the company portfolio
2014.
Grand Hotel Orebić (now Aminess Grand Azur Hotel) on the Pelješac peninsula enters the company portfolio
2016.
On 1 January 2016 Laguna Novigrad d.d. launches its new brand Aminess Hotels & Campsites
2020.
Under its Aminess brand, Laguna Novigrad d.d. extends its operations to the island of Krk by assuming the management of the Hoteli Njivice d.o.o. hotel company that includes the Magal Hotel by Aminess and Veya Hotel by Aminess, Aminess Atea Camping Resort and Aminess Gaia Green Villas on the island of Krk
2021.
Laguna Novigrad d.d. acquires the HTP Korčula and HTP Orebić companies, thus including in its portfolio the Marko Polo Hotel (now Hotel Marko Polo by Aminess), the Liburna Hotel (now Aminess Liburna Hotel), the Korčula Hotel (now Aminess Korčula Heritage Hotel) and the Port 9 Resort (now Aminess Port 9 Resort) on the island of Korčula, as well as the Orsan Hotel (now Hotel Orsan by Aminess), the Bellevue Hotel (now Aminess Bellevue Hotel), the Bellevue Villas (now Aminess Bellevue Village) and Casa Bellevue (now Aminess Casa Bellevue) on the peninsula of Pelješac
The company Laguna Novigrad d.d. changes its name to Aminess d.d.
Aminess d.d. takes over the management of a new hotel in Makarska - Aminess Khalani Hotel
