Absolutely recommendable in every respect. The drive to Karlic Truffles takes 1 hour, we avoided the toll roads and thus had a wonderful trip through dense forests, small picturesque villages and dreamy country roads. At our destination we were warmly welcomed, were able to learn a lot about truffles, go on a search with the dogs and finally try what we found in the forest during the live cooking. The food was great and there were drinks (water and wine) for free. Full marks for this experience.

The three-hour adventure includes a short education about Istrian truffles and their history, truffle hunting in the green oasis of Istria accompanied by the most exquisite muzzles - truffle dogs.
After fun activity in the nature, prepare to taste homemade meals cooked in front of you. Don't be shy! Participate in meal preparation and learn something about local Istrian cuisine.
On the top of that, all visitors have an opportunity to visit the first Truffle museum in Croatia.

I had an amazing experience truffle hunting at Karlic Tartufi. Everyone was so knowledgeable and friendly. I think the combination of people who are passionate about what they do and connecting over food is an incredible way to learn and experience another country. The tour was incredible and it definitely made me understand why truffles cost as much as they do for all the work that is required in finding them. I loved the balance between truffle hunting in the woods and the phenomenally delicious meal we received. The food was clearly made with so much love and everything tasted amazing. I appreciated how informative the experience was as well. 10000/10 recommend this experience to anyone who has the opportunity to be near the area.
